center hole in tilt spool rear cover leaking on 763

Aluminum cap on right side of main valve [back end of tilt cylinder spool valve] has a central hole in it which leaks alot. Hole is there for a reason but Im sure it's not suppose to be pouring fluid out. Does anyone have a idea whats going on?

spool seals on that spool.

spool seals on that spool.

The hole will be to allow air in and out as the spool moves.
If it's leaking oil, as already mentioned, the seals are leaking.
