It starts without problems, runs for about 1/2 hour, then begins to smoke heavily. Still runs good, but smokes bad. Why? Has about 1200 hours on it. Maintenance has been kept up. Oil looks good. Recently changed all fiters. Any ideas?

I had the same problem with my ASVRC60 recently. Check the blow by tube that comes off of the top of the valve cover. If you have a 400 series 22T Perkins engine or the CAT version of it, and you are experiencing heavy blow by through the tube, then you may have a blown head gasket.
