Cat 247b not starting

Ok here's my dilemma my machine won't start by the key but when I jump the two terminals on the starter she fires right up . Took the starter out and bench tested and that is fine also tested the battery and that is good so I thought the ignition switch was bad because the key was loose and would hang up well new switch in and same thing . So Now I'm lost any help would be greatly appreciated .

It could be the switch, but it could be a relay before the starter too.
