Gday, this is Charles from Australia. I have a 226B which appears to have a bydraulic problem. The bucket only stays level when you operate the right joystick all the time, and as soon as you let it go the bucket droops down. Anyone suggest what might have gone wrong--is it more likely to be the controller, the electrics or the actual hydraulics? Fluid level is good and there are no warning lights on. I"m not sure how to diagnose the problem.

Welcome, i'm from up in Brisbane.
I'd start with the easier stuff first, replace the seals in the cylinders. Some times the nut can even back off that holds the piston on, allowing the fluid to by-pass.

Cap each of the lift cylinders one at a time to see if one or both cylinders are bypassing. If you still have drift it could be a check valve.
