I guess what you are trying to say is that when you put in a charged battery ,there is something that drains it with the key off ?? so charge the battery fully and have it one lead disconnected from the machine with the key off touch lightly to the battery post and look for a spark ,that would indicate a battery drain, might need lights turn down low to see it. If you do see a spark ,I would pull each fuse to see when a spark is not drawn. If you do not have a VOM or a load tester . But there is , just cause the alternator it is new does not mean it is good.
