Case coil

Hello I recently bought a old case uniloader. The service manual I bought identifies it as a 1973 1816. I have found some parts online and bought some from NAPA. The coil is blowing fuses. Does anyone know where I can find one? It has the Tecumseh engine. According to the manual it is a 16 horse. Looking for a coil that will work with it. TIA!

I have a 1968 tecumseh hh120 that lost the spark and the coils are no longer available for the one I had , but if you do some internet searching there is a guy who makes a replacement conversion in two different styles . I con not remember which one I got but it does work well and was not bad to install.

if I am not mistaken that is your alternator coils on the side of the block , there should be magnets I think that were glued to the inside of the flywheel. I think there are triggers on the outside of the flywheel that trip the ingition coil. well that was how it was on my 12 hp.
