case 85xt engine stalling not starting and chains

85xt Case skidsteer would be running and then the engine would intermittently stop running. At one point I could turn it over and on or about the 6th try it would start again and run. Then it progressed to the problem where it wouldn't run or idle unless I held the ignition key on. If I let off of the key, the engine would die. Now it will not start at all. I have replaced all of the filters, in line filters, ignition, low pressure switch and now at a loss as to what to replace next. Looking for feedback

I'd check the fuel shut off solenoid. If the hold coil isn't working but the pull is, it will run while cranking as the coil is allowing fuel to the pump. When you let go of the key, the fuel stops and the hold coil is not working and just stall.
If you kept having to hold the key one to run, it's possible the coil has finally totally burnt out.
Hopefully it is as easy as a new solenoid.
