Having some trouble with this machine lately. For the last couple mornings, it will start normally, and begin to run rough, smoke, and eventually stall. Bleeding the system does not seem to help, there is no air in the system, but after messing with it for a while it will start up like nothing ever happened. It has done this before, but only when it was very cold, I figured it was just gelled fuel, but it is not that cold currently. I changed both fuel filters (they we're not that old), and it didn't help. I have noticed that lately it seems like the shut-off solenoid has been sticking, when you turn the key off sometimes it takes a little bit for the engine to shut down (like you only pulled the cable halfway on an old manual shut-off). only opening partially, could this be the problem? What about the cold start solenoid? What are the symptoms if that is not working? Once I get it going it runs fine, it will run wide open all day, the problem seems to happen when sitting overnight

Smoking then stalling is weird, if it's a shut down solenoid, i'd suspect there wouldn't be smoke, as smoke is unburnt fuel.
I'm wondering if it could be an injector/fuel issue, if the fuel is not spraying right, it will smoke as it's not burning fully.
I'm wondering if you can heat the injector pump and injectors/lines with a hair drier to see if that stops the issue?
