Hi, First of all big thanks to the guys who helped with my Bobcat 641 problem, it turned out that there was an issue with the valve block which meant a big bill but hey ho. So, solve one problem and another arises! We have another skidsteer, a Case 40xt high flow. When we could this with a bobcat FC200 Flail mower everything works fine (the flow has been matched on the flail to the stated flow rate on the Case HF). BUT... After a short period of time, the Case overheats which obviously means we have to shut down. Before I go delving into cooler cleaning etc (it looks okay) is it simply that the Case cooling system can't cope with the load? If that's the case (excuse the pun) are additional coolers available? I've heard of roof mounted units? To be clear, it's not hydraulic fluid overheating, it's engine coolant. Any help would be appreciated.

There is no reason for the engine to over heat from running the mower, it should be capable of keeping the engine cool when running flat out.
Are the radiator fins clear? and the blower spinning correctly (especially if belt driven).
The only issue with adding an additional radiator is if it's external, you run the risk of bumping something and loosing coolant.
