Case 40 XT steering issues

I have a 40XT that I was using yesterday with no issues then all of a sudden lost my right side steering control. No forward or reverse. The left side works fine. This happened to me a few years ago and the mechanic I took it to finally figured out it was an electrical issue but never told me exactly what he did and he's gone now. I've tried messing with the solenoid block wiring, fuses, and relays and just can't see what the issue might be.

First thing I'd do is trace the ground wires on the right side drive circuit and clean up every connection you can find. Corrosion or a loose pin can cause exactly this kind of random dropout.
