I have a case 1845c that I would like to sell, but im not sure what it would be worth. Right now it has a broken drive chain, and a few starting issues. It did run and perform well It has been down for about 8 months. It has 2800 hours on the cumins engine, I purchased during the construction of our house. So Im not sure if should pay to have it repaired then sell or just sell as is. What are your thoughts?

If you have the ability to fix those things yourself, then do that and sell it afterword. Both should be easier fixes. And fully working equipment will get the best price. If you can't then just sell it as it is for a bit less. Good chance the right buyer might be mechanically inclined. Those will be easy fixes for him. Having a dealers fix it before you sell it is probably the worst option if you are looking to try and get decent money out of the sale.
