Case 1845b wont shut down

i have two case 1845b skid steers, one has a manual fuel shutoff on the backside of the injection pump that allows it to shut down no problem. The second one which i believe is an 85 model has a wire that runs in to it and when i shut the key off it will idle down but it won't die unless i drive it into something (pile of stone ground) which makes it somewhat dangerous to load on trailer. any ideas on how to fix this issue any suggestions would be helpful. thanks

Is the shut off solenoid external? I know mine needs a psring to pull the pluger down to shut off, could yours be the same? or even have junk in it causing it to not fully move and shut off?
