I need to find out where my temperature sending unit is located. It has the diesel engine without emissions. thanks

Don't have access to my maintenance manual (out of town), but try the parts catalog on the Messicks site. The parts are broken down by systems, chassis, hydraulics, etc. You should be able to locate it

Found the switch - it shows up in the "04-06 Rear Harness- Battery" diagram - item number 3. It will be threaded into the head, may into or close to the thermostat housing.

Case 1840 new thermostat ,new anti-freeze, new radiator and shroud, new fan blade and belt. The temperature buzzer goes off in short cycles. When I check nothing feels warm. My thoughts are the sending unit. Do you have to remove the muffler to get to it? Is there a generic one available? Case wants $132 for theirs. Ant thoughts about my diagnostics here? thank you......
