Case 1835 repair/help

Hi all, Hoping you can help me. I have a Case 1835 diesel and have an oil leak that I've narrowed down to one of the variable displacement pumps (the rear one of course). I have removed the pumps and the control valve (it may be called a shutter valve?) appears to have an o-ring seal behind a clip and washer....I think that's the culprit. Does anyone have experience working on this piece that can share some advice? I would also be interested in getting a copy of a few pages from a service manual that covers repair of this part.
