Hi all, Hoping you can help me. I have a Case 1835 diesel and have an oil leak that I've narrowed down to one of the variable displacement pumps (the rear one of course). I have removed the pumps and the control valve (it may be called a shutter valve?) appears to have an o-ring seal behind a clip and washer....I think that's the culprit. Does anyone have experience working on this piece that can share some advice? I would also be interested in getting a copy of a few pages from a service manual that covers repair of this part. Let me know- THANKS Jack

I don't know your exact pump setup, but replacing the seals on those parts isn't too hard to do. Are these parts hooked up to your control levers? if so, these are your swash plates. There will be a seal on the shaft that can leak over time.

I have the service manual for the 1835B. If this is the loader you have I could text or email pictures of the relevant service information.
