Hi Guys i'm new to the fourm i just got a 1825 for work around our 21/2a yard inclueding Snow we just got a good 10" of the realy wet stuff. My first question when greasing their are no zerks on the bucket end of the loader arms, my operators manual shows them? Could they have been in the end of the pins? and the pins have been replaced. I'm glade we got the nasty wet snow now i know i have the power for a bigger bucket, snow plow or pusher, thinking snow bucket then i can use it for mulch and compoast. My next question i chainged engine oil and i allways use synthetic oil in all the cars and in the Kubota tractor. I see the Hydrulic oil is 10-30 engine oil with a additive can standars 10w hydrulic oil be used? Thanks jmarv

I'd advise against any hydraulic/hydrostatic system additives.
There should be grease nipples there, its possible the pins were changed with the wrong style. Give the area a good clean, make sure they were simply not broken off.

It needs grease, get some nipples on there.
As for the additives, I believe Case says you need some in their hydraulic fluid, but I have no idea what it does. Ask your Case dealer and see what you think.

i had to drill and tap for zerks it never had them, i started to clean the dirt/oil that is packed around the drive motors and valves and lines what a mess it has about 2"of oil soaked dirt i don think it was ever cleaned out, wish the lower skidplate came off. I have a leak on one of the lines for the loader valve and it looks like i will have to pull the motor and or the pumps to get at the valve. I did get a new cutting edge put on the bucket this weekend. dune33

I have had machines like that, caked on dirt from oil, it sure takes a lot of work to get it clean again, you never seem to get it all either....
