Hi all, I need some help. I have a case 1818 skidsteer. The bucket with a load in it struggles to go up at times it won't go up with it empty it will go up and down easy this just started happening I noticed I do have a leak today I power washed all the old crud and after moving it I noticed a puddle of oil in the back (see pictures) two of the lines I don't know how to get to unless I take the motor out the other three I might be able to get to any suggestions on determining which line it may be. These are hard lines where I noticed the oil coming from, but I know leaks can be very tricky and any suggestions or tips

Seems to look like you clamp is loose, the lock washer is not seated all the way

Hopefully the clam didn't rub through the hard line from vibration

If your lucky, one of them came loose because the clam was loose

Good luck

I found the leak it was not any line. There is a broken weld on the side allowing oil from where the chain is to leak. Now need to figure out why my bucket with a load won't move very well

I recently replaced all four lines going to the hydraulics. There are two lines per cylinder. I'm hoping I put the correct lines back the way they were. They have the same fitting. I'm going to research that and see if I can figure out if I have them correct or not.

That is correct mark the lines you can use Colored Zip ties and leave them on for the next time. :) I did things this way after learning the hard way. Are you saying you did not have this issue prior to removing the lines? If not, then maybe a good picture in a manual may help. Also in todays world we have those cell phones with cameras take pictures of placements of all things prior to taking them apart. One more tip that helps sometimes. Let us know what you find. Good luck with that.
