How do I remove the pump that runs the drive motor on the left side. Do I try to take it out forward and up by controls or remove engine and take out as a unit with both pumps.
Looks a little difficult to take pully of to just take the pump off, but it may come easy.
Any leads on a used one would be appreciated.

I would take it out forward and up. Let me know if you need any parts for it.
Finally got around to working on 1816C. Put the drive pump back in and now the driven pump is very stiff (D120048 trw K69043) took it apart and the 7 round rollers #17 were stiff in the housing #15 and 16. No apparent scoring but a few tiny silver flakes in fluid in housing. What should I do. Cleanup and put back together. Order rebuild kits that are more money than exchange pump. Find used or exchange. What do you have available.

Sounds like the drive motor. Can you send photos?

It is not swelled up. It would be blue if it had gotten that hot. It is a very tight, close tolerance fit. A little assembly oil will help it all slide together. I recommend putting the center in first and then sliding the rollers in. I can see about a seal kit if you give me the stamped numbers on the mounting flange.

Cannot send picture camera flash goes off and distorts picture not very tec savvy. TRW 3 K69043
