Kicking around this idea...seen lots of youtube videos of ppl doing this. Got a 5ft 3pt shredder deck im looking to modify to attach to the front of my 743. Can the aux hydraulics handle this? How would you operate the aux hydro motor powering the deck? thanks

Are you talking about modifying a pto driven bush hog for a tractor to work on a ssqa with a hydraulic motor conversion? I think it's been done over on the tractor forum; the biggest factors are sizing the motor to match the pto power and speed. Also, you need a bypass circuit so the rotating mass won't tear up something when you shut the aux hydraulics off.
A lot of stuff requires high flow, you might start with the Bobcat site and see what they have for the 743 and go from there. Chances are that if a 743 can drive it, Bobcat has already marketed a version of it.

I think that the 743 b has just a 10.5 gpm pump so what ever hydraulic motor one would use that is your upper limit.

I matched a motor to a 743 hydraulic flow, it would spin up to speed, but didn't have the power to do any real cutting.... The pump was new, so we were getting full flow and pressure to the motor, it just didn't have the power to do the work we hoped it would.
