Hey guys, wanted to reach out to the resident Bobcat experts on the forum. I picked up a 753G a few months back to add to the farm arsenal. It was supposedly an 02' model. It does have a late serial number and the valve cover indicates the engine is a 2001. It needs some paintwork and I was going to remove the cab for that. Been toying with the idea of adding heat. It would be an ideal time to do a cab swap for a heated cab with all the glass, ductwork, etc. I do realize this will be much more expensive option than plumbing in a small "heater core" with an electric fan. My question is what years / models cab would fit on my 753? I've seen plenty of salvage cabs online but they were all open ROPS. Thanks!

Every cabin of 753 G, 763 G, 773 G will be fine. I think even all the G- series models ./5437753,763,773,863,873 /are same but I'm not sure If yours is not flattened or badly damaged, just buy an original glazing, door and heater from bobcat dealer, it will be not cheap.Have you gotten into the cab of factory glazed and heated bobcat ? Try to find one to see the quality of workmanship. To find good second hand one ...will be not easy and not cheap...maybe close to buying new one.

I would check salvage yards to see if there are any donor machines

Thanks guys. I'll keep an eye out for some salvage machines and may even make a few phone calls. I've seen some open ROPS cabs for sale so I'm curious in the price difference between those and an enclosed cab. Thanks again for the replies.
