cab jack kit question

hi guys,
i see a couple cab jack kits on ebay but i guess i was expecting something “substantial” looking to tilt the cab but these look like just a few pieces. If i buy a jck kit is that all i need to tilt it forward? Does anything need to be unhooked first? and can i do it by myself?
