Can attachments with hyd cylinders be operated with 12 v via toggle switch? I purchased bobcat sb 200 snowblower and want operate the chute and deflector And am considering bypassing the control box Any help would be appreciated

I can't see why that wouldn't work.
I was told that the "computer" on bobcat machines "talks" to the attachment I'm not sure about that though I can't see any reason why the solinoids couldn't be operated by a manual switch Thanks for your input Tazzo

You are right, older machines just had on/off switches to a large connector, the newer ones have fewer pins with digital outputs. Then you need to work out if your attachment has the digital interface or not too....

that's a good point - I'm trying to get the cover screws loose to inspect the control box on the snowblower so my question is are the hydraulic control block solenoids 12 v ? and can they be operated by a simple "on-off" switch ? the auger/impeller hyd motors I question if they are a little more complicated - i.e. vary in their position with respect to the load applied Does anyone have tecnical taining on this ?

I'd like to think they are standard 12v open centre valves that will work with power on/off.
I don't know about the vairable speed impeller, but i'd think it won't be on this model, but i have never worked with one. I'd like to think it's pretty well flat out to push the snow as far as it can.

sounds reasonable to me now I just have to free up the screws holding the plastic control box on to inspect the components . . . . . . .
