Message: <blockquote data-quote="stormmountain" data-source="post: 87010" data-attributes="member: 12406"><p>Hi have you resolved your problem,i am in the same situation and am hoping someone else has a fix.I have been working on taking the parts from a jd 2500 mower pump and working them into the case assembly 2 problems arose 1 the swash plate end is tapered so i had to rework the control arm and 2 the swash plate is design 2 so it is offset from the design 1 so you need to use modern design 2 back plate (the ones from the jd 2500 are only one pump operations so those back plates will not work) or rework the original ones.... this may work or may not try at your own risk.which is why i am making sure this is my only option by hoping someone has found a bunch of old swash plates laying around...ya right.The tapered end is a great design and will make the control arm wiggle a thing of the past.
