Has anyone reverse engineered the BOSS communications?
I have a BOSS unit that is going bad (several sensors are reporting 'shorted' (-4) but wiring and sensors test out ok)
I'm looking into replacing it with an Arduino to cover the sensors and communicate with the display (which is still working), all I need to know is the com protocol.
Does anyone know what signal standard it uses (RS233, RS485, CANBUS, MODBUS, etc.) and has anyone reverse engineered the messages sent from the BOSS to the display for the various values?
