Mine gives about 40 psi when it is running. The original oil pressure sender was broken off when I got the engine, so I had an oil pressure gauge in the hole and got that reading. Thanks
Yep.. At idle around 940 RPM it is about 26 hot At 1800 Rpm it is 42-46 hot Pinned at 2500 RPM it is about 56-60 hot When i first got it it was much lower, I checked the oil, the oil was 1.5 gallons overfilled!!! So I changed the oil and filled it to 7/8ths of the hash mark, about 2 gallons and it is much better. Also smokes far less now.. Thanks for your help.. Does your BC have the same engine?Mine gives about 40 psi when it is running. Yes, I have a Bobcat 863 with the 1011F engine. It is a project machine and the only thing holding me back is a lack of Deutz parts. Just need a timing belt/idler and a starter ring gear. Engine was left on the ground in a field, I got it running on a wooden engine mount and want to finish it so I can get the engine back in the Bobcat.Yep..
