i just bought a 2014 bobcat t590. the machine runs great except the throttle control knob. when turned to turtle the tach. shows 2300 rpm and when turned to rabbit the tach shows 2600 rpm. The foot pedal does nothing at all, is there an adjustment on the throttle knob or does it just need to be replaced, or could it be something causing this.

Not sure about your machine, but on my A300 the turtle / rabbit does not effect the rpm's. It only affects the hydraulics / hydrostatics. So I can be at full throttle but the machine will move much slower in turtle mode.

If I want to lower rpm's I just set the throttle lever to the rpm's I want. This however does not slow down the speed of the hydraulics / hydrostatics. But the engine may bog down if I push the machine too hard at low rpm's.

This one is the throttle control, its the only hand throttle it has besides the foot throttle. The owners manual also says its the throttle control switch.

my machine if the hand control is set above a idle on start up it disables the foot control. once the hand control is set to the lowest setting ,then the foot control works, both can be used together after start up if more power is needed briefly above hand control setting.

Sorry for the picture as its not the best. the knob is on the right hand pillar. its the only throtttle control it has besides the foot pedal. Its part #7281258 on the bobcat website.

My S650 has a throttle lever on that right hand pillar that controls engine RPM. Has no foot pedal. Wondering if your foot petal is seized. Low idle on mine is about 900 RPM. High is about 2300
The turtle-rabbit is a switch on the right joystick that controls wheel speed ( high-low range)

i was gonna unplug the foot throttle when i get a chance, you can push it and it does nothing, the machine has been sitting for awhile so it might be corroded up inside. wish they would just go back to manual throttle, so much easier then electronic.
