My salesman has told me about Bobcat's training and product training course that the salesmen go through. My salesman said that they spend the morning going through classroom familarization of the product, then get to spend the afternoon operating all the different types of equipment. I think it is a 2-3 day, or maybe even weeklong event. It would be great if Bobcat would offer a contest to allow a few lucky customers to go through this course too, kind of like an all expense paid product demo. Call me crazy, or whatever, but I would love the chance to try all the different models out.
Hopefully someone at Bobcat will read this and create a contest something like the 500K model skidsteer or Toolcat contest they have had in the past. Or better yet, maybe I'll receive a call, offering my to be the first one to go :) It would be a great story for their next Worksaver magazine, not to mention the great product selling angle. Then I might have to buy my T300 or 435 compact excavator sooner than expected.

Sounds like a good idea to me... you should suggest it to them!
I sent Bobcat an e-mail today with my idea. Who knows, you might be reading about me in the next Worksaver.

Knowing where most people are sitting when they read their Worksaver, I don't know if I'd want to be featured or not..
Where are most people sitting? I eagerly wait for my copy... and when I get it, straight to the desk I go...

Team Fortress, I thought you were sitting at at your craft table with you copy of Stickers Galore.
Meant Team Fountain, not Team Fortress. Do you specialize in landscaping work involving fountains, hence the name?

The name comes from my fishing boat (Fountain sportfish cruiser). The graphics on the side have a huge fishing hook and above it it's painted Team Fountain. That's the name given to me by my friends at the fishing board I frequent, so I use it here and on a woodworking board I go to.
Now I must go to the scrapbooking board and pick up some chicks.

Hahaha, I had a hunch you were going to say that... but no, my Worksavers are predominately clean copies. :) Xing
