Bobcat S70 Suspected Drive Motor seal leak

Hi People, I have a S70 with about 350 hrs. Bought it with 120 hrs a couple years ago. Time of purchase I had to add hydraulic oil thinking the PO just missed it. But I had to keep adding, no obvious leaks on ground or cement. Today, I removed chain case plug and about 4 gallons came out before it stoped at proper level. I know I should have checked sooner but don't use the machine enough to really recognize the pattern. Anyway, it looks like a drive motor seal is leaking, not knowing which side is the culprit, I plan to replace both. Would appreciate any advice from the forum regarding tips, tricks and parts supply options vs dealer. Someone with 463 or S70 experience would be great. Cheers Kevin BC, Canada

Seals from the dealer aren't too bad for the drive motor carriers. Some of the older models didn't have a carrier seal, the seal was in teh drive motor.
If it has a carrier, remove the motor and you will see the seal, if yo drill a small hole in it, screw in a self tapping screw and use pliers to lever out out.
