I too had some black smoke and also a little white smoke all the time. I changed out the filters to no avail, still smoked. I pulled the fuel filter, drained it and filled it with sea foam. When it fired up it smoked pretty good for a few minutes and then cleared up. Now it only puffs a little smoke on start up and when increasing the throttle quickly. The sea foam cleaned any carbon in the injectors and upper cylinder and that seemed to cure my problem..... may work for you too ?? just my $ .02</p></blockquote><p></p>
