Help! I just purchased a S150 got it at a great price but had one down fall to it. When you turn on the skid steer the arms just come down and raise the front tires off the ground. You are able to go forward and back but the foot pedals seem to be stuck or aren't unlocking when I push traction lock override. I checked the cycloids that left and told the bucket but they are still working. The bobcat bearly has a 1,007 hours on it so it's not a whole bunch of hours but could pass the deal up so if any body gots some advice I'd greatly appreciate it thanks.

Lift and tilt
For starters and just to clarify, to operate all functions of the machine, you need to push the green "push to operate" button on the left dash. All four LEDs need to light up to function. If the lift light isn't turning out, I would think the machine will beep three times to indicate a code being set. Push and hold the headlight button to see if a code is shown. Other then that, does the pedals move freely after you have unlocked the machine? It could be a number of things either electrical or mechanical. Worse case could be a cracked control vavle. That said, I have too little information to give a definit answer.

The pedals are not freed up once you unlock the machine it's like a sensor is not releasing them or they are stuck and then bucket just digs into the ground and lifts up the front end.

I'd flip the cab. On the front of the vavle, there are two spool lock solenoids where the linkage connects to the vavle. Remove them and see if the pedals move freely. The linkage maybe seized or the spools in the vavle maybe sticking for some reason.

Also, the solenoids Dan is talking about, if you have bad seals in the control block, oil can get into these solenoids and they can burn out or get stuck so they won't disengage.

Are those two solenoids below the rods that control the wheels ?

They screw into the side of the control vavle 90° to the booties on the spools where the linkage connects.
I disconnected the two sylonoids and the foot pedals did not disengage but when I do turn the machine on the green button to operate the machine does not work. I push it but not happens I am only able to move the skid loader if I push the traction lock over ride then it does go forward and back but doesn't move the arms nor tilt.

I asked what happened to it and they said from one day to the next that the green button stopped working. So now I'm wondering if it is the control panel that went bad or if it's a fuse or something electrical?

Did you un-screw them from the control block housing? Disconnecting the wire will not do a thing, they need to be removed to free up the pedals.

I forgot to add, when removed, no oil should come out.
They have a pin that extends from the end, this goes into a groove on the spool to lock it out.

Do you think I should unscrew the cylonoids even tho the control panel isn't letting me unlock the machine I am having to push the traction lock override to get it to moving?

Let's take a step back, what code is it setting when you try to use it. When you start it and it won't unlock, does the unit beep three times? Press and hold the headlight button and see what code is displayed in the hour meter.

The unit does not beep three times after starting it and when I checked the code it said none on the hour meter.
