Bobcat S-650

Hi, Newbie here, in Tx. I'm looking to buy my first skid steer, and I'm close to buying the Bobcat S-650. It seems to be the smallest Bobcat that can handle 3500-4000 pound of material on pallets. Anybody got a better machine? Pros & Cons of the model S-650 Bobcat? Glad to be where there are some experienced folks. Thanks, John

4000# is a lot of weight. The s650 is rated at:
Operating load is 2690# tip at 5380#
The other issue is the further out the load is, the more it will want to tip forward. You need level ground or risk the machine tipping forward and it does so very fast!
I assume a forklift is not an option for this situation?
