Hi, I have a bobcat which I thought was a m600 or M610 was but now I saw on the forum that there is a Wisconsin VF4D engine is in the bobcat. Now I looked at the motor in my bocat and I saw that it was a KHD Deutz engine in it. can beat or has anyone ever put in a different engine? sorry for my bad english (google translate) here is a picture of my bocat: http://tinypic.com/r/70ukwl/5

600D had a Deutz F2L410 engine
610D had a Deutz F2L411
- is there anyone here who has a manual that he can send me? - should I change filters? - and how should I hydroliek oil and engine oil change and where are the vision in my bobcat?

I recently acquired what they told me was a 1970 M-600 but after sanding the engine label I can see it says VH4D which was the 610 engine. The Label on the bobcat, I can see the number 600 (about the only thing I can read). So I wonder if the engine was swapped out at some point

When new most of these machines had a hydraulic vacuum gauge and it was a signal to change the filter when the suction was high. It wouldn't hurt to start with a new filter on any old machine. It might save you from chasing a problem downstream that is not really there.
