Hello, there are cracks through my set screw holes on my driven sheave (cracks are in line with the jackshaft) . The screws get loose and then the sheave gets out of alignment with the belt. Can these cracks be welded and then re tap the threads? Maybe drill a new hole or two and tap those? I appreciate any thoughts. Thanks I forgot how to post photos otherwise I'd have some pics.

I have a 500 and am going thru issues with the sheave on the engine half of the split pulley. I am thinking about making it single speed via a custom made pulley, seeing a machine shop maybe tomorrow. I should have the other half and the hydro speed control valve available soon . Oh the factory sheaves are no longer for sale from bobcat.
