I have a Bobcat M-371 that I just restored and repainted after tearing it down and replacing rear axle seals and t jack shaft bearings. Chains were tightened to repair manual recommendations. I was careful not to dismantle the clutches and reinstalled them and adjusted the free play forward and reverse. I test ran it with a drill before putting cover back on. My problem is this, when I reverse, the right wheels turn for maybe 2 ft, and then lock up hard. Pulling forward a bit and reversing again leads to the same issue. Forward works like a champ. I’m thinking the clutch adjustment must be off, but after adjusting the forward clutch, which drives reverse, I get maybe a couple feet more of movement, but it is way out of place as to where it should sit. (Lever) Can anyone tell me what might be my problem?
