I have a Bobcat 751 G series, 720hrs. When the lift arms are operated at a slow speed, it will shudder/chatter. It makes it hard to use when doing the delicate lifting. Originally had a tilt problem, code 32-31, tilt actuator fault. Sent it to the "official" Bobcat dealer/shop, 60 miles. They fixed the tilt and sent it back.$$$ But now it will shudder/chatter when using the lift arms. This is a new problem, straight off their delivery truck. How they missed it when loading it who knows. I never had this problem before. Had them come and get it again. They said they tried everything, but could not fix it. Basically told me, I would have to live with it. This the main machine I use on our farm. Any suggestions on a possible fix would be greatly appreated. Thanks

it sounds as though you have air in the system. normally raising and lowering a few times will purge it. im sure you have done that. you might try loosening the hose to your rams just enough to drip and lower and raise them and see if that helps. if possible have someone watch and see if they see bubbles of air coming out. do believe though I would call the manager at that bobcat place. that just doesn't seem like bobcat. might be an employee thing.

It sounds like they just transferred the problem from the tilt to the lift.
Does it do it with float mode engaged and disengaged equally?
Has anyone messed with the emergency lift lower valve? Might try cycling that a few time in case there is a chunk of debris keeping it from closing, especially if the arms drift.

Thanks for the quick reply, I will try your recommendation as soon as I get it back from a different shop after the Holidays. Unfortunately, it was their service manager that told me the bad news about having to live with it. Forgot to mention he also said it was hard to find parts for the 751 because of its age. Needless to say, I won't be going back to them.

AllisonWoods did you ever get this corrected? I have the same issue with my 751F and ive tried almost everything to resolve it. mine does it up and down only on a touch of the pedal. I think its the Orings on the valve body spools. I had a leak last year and replaced all the spool seals and I didnt notice it til after that repair. doesnt bother me too much working with it but on occasion its an issue when unloading/loading pallets
