I have a Bobcat 741 and the lap bar is attached with bolts to the cage no springs or support cylinders so I have to clip it up to hold it in the vertical position. Does anyone have a diagram of how this is supposed to be setup or if someone has a functioning one pictures would help as well! Let me know what info you guys have. Thanks from a new first time skid steer owner.

There are meant to be springs and a plate that creates some friction.
Sadly i don't have any images of this though so you can copy it....
The springs can be bought from the dealer.
Others have used a short gas strut to hold the bar up, not suer on the pivot point locations though.

I've got a parts catalog for the 743, shoot me an email and I will send you scans with the exploded diagrams and the Bobcat part numbers.
