My bobcat 7753 has been having an intermittent but increasing problem where occasionally when started there is no hydraulic power (drive, tilt, or lift), sometimes it will kick in after 20-30 seconds of running, and other times it will display hydraulic error after some time but no power. Usually when restarted hydraulic power will come on. The fluid reservoir is full, and fluid replaced not long ago (also replaced entire motor, belts & tensioner last year). Any ideas what could be going on, and what to check? I'm a Noob to mechanical details on bobcat, but no source of good mechanics in my area, so forced to learn - thanks!

The easiest thing would be check the traction relay, it might be number 14 on your machine. Intermittent issues can be relay related, since relays dont "blow" like a fuse. The can work on and off with age making diagnostics difficult. I'd try swapping it with the front lights relay.

I'd also check the drive belt, if it's slipping you will not have any drive or lift/tilt power. You will also get a hydraulic chage pressure light coming on.

Thank you, guys! It was the drive belt -- I have an automatic tensioner, but it had apparently slipped and was causing the problem. Thank you!!!!
