It could be as simple as a bad pressure sender, is it a HP3 error? below the BOSS gauge there should be a list that shows what error 3 is, it may be open circuit which is usually a bad sender. Its located on the hydraulic filter head in the engine bay.

Boss Codes
AF = air filter, 3 = wire not connected
Codes are as follows
ECL engine coolant level
EC engine coolant temp
EP engine oil pressure
ES engine speed
AF air filter
H Hydrostatic fluid temp
b Battery (show on display in Lower Case)
FUEL fuel level
HF Hydraulic Filter
HP Hydraulic Fluid pressure
All these codes will be followed by a number, not all numbers apply to all codes
Example 1 is the engine shutdown code but there is no FUEL 1 or No AF1 because these are not serious failures.
Numbers are as follows
1 Shutdown engine in 30 seconds
2 Warning
3 wire not connected
4 wire shorted
5 High sensor voltage
6 Sensor no signal
7 Sensor out of range
If you see some sort of jiberish on the display you likely have a bad ground .
There are also code number 1.1 2.1 and 2.2
EC has a 1.1 shutdown and a 2.1 Warning code
ES hase a 2.1 warning code
b has a 2.1 warning bad battery and a 2.2 Warning battery voltaage
Therte are up to 4 relays
starter, glow plugs, park brake , not sure on 4th , I think it the fuel shut off soliniod on the Kubota engine models
Yes it is an HP3 code. Is there a way to check this sensor? I want to make sure its a bad sensor and not a wire problem.
Its a 3 wire sender, so i'm not sure you can just bridge it to know if its good or bad. I don't think the sender is that expensive, around the $30-$40 mark i believe.
Your saying its a 3 wire sender and the repair shop says its a 2 wire sensor and it cost almost $70. Now Im confused.
Well the sender i used on my 753 with a BOSS system uses a 3 wire switch, as does my 763 and 751 with BICS and it was 30-40 USD.....

There were 3 maybe 4 different sensors used on 7753, 763and 753 for the hydraulic pressure , depending if you had Boss or Base , some were one wire , for a while there were even adapter wiring pigtails that need to be installed on certain serial number situations when replacing a sensor , the dealer should know what you need if they did a good job on researching the serial number break -----this code seems to be a real problem on that machine , sometimes I find it's an oil thickness problem , 10 w30 in the hydraulic tank will make it go off , I have not used 10w30 in the hydraulic tank for probally 20 years now on anything I do unless the customer whats it , and that change started for me with that code problem , you might try cleaning out the snubber , which is a fitting that the sensor is scerwed into , it's like porous rock and trash may be in it , it could be a wiring problem but also it could be a controller problem --------the sensor is to the right of the hydraulic filter , between the filter and the wall , I doubt you have three wires , probally 2 with a weather tight plug
