The hydraulic hoses on the grapple have 90 degree fittings between hoses and the couplers that connect to the T250. We have broken the hose off the top coupler assembly a half dozen times. It appears that when the grapple is tipped all the way back and the jaws rapidly opened, the left jaw will snap back and hit the 90 degree fitting where the hose attaches. The hose attaches the fitting via a threaded tube. Sometimes it just makes a small crack in the fitting at the tube to body connection. Other times the tube comes completely off the fitting. The first few times it happened we thought is was the hose getting caught on something and pulled. We have tried longer hoses and ty-rapped the two hoses together with a sheath surrounding them. The hoses are routed through the rectangular hoop on the T250 arm. We don't think it is from the hose getting caught on something or pulled at the extremes of its motion. We tried a custom fitting that had a stronger tube on the 90 degree fitting. That didn't break clean away but still developed a crack. The coupler is 3 1/2 inches long; total length with the 90 degree fitting is 5 3/8 inches; distance from the coupler end to the centerline of the hose attachment tube 4 5/8 inches. Except for our one try at a custom made fitting, all parts are genuine Bobcat. One would think they should work together. Any suggestions? Move the hydraulic connection bracket on the T250? Is there a shorter coupler and/or 90 degree fitting? Is there a way to limit the distance the grapple jaw can open? ? ? Thanks.</p></blockquote><p></p>
