Hi all,
You guys have been very helpful to me in the past, so I try once more.
I have just acquired a Bobcat A220 loader.
However, the loader is located over 1200 km away from me. Only thing I know about it is that the engine runs, but the machine has no power - which could be caused by a lot of things.
I will pick it up with my truck, but the Bobcat needs to be drivven about 2 km to get to the truck. Before driving the Bobcat the 2 km to the truck, I would like to derterminate what is wrong with it, so I can take preventive action to minimize more damage.
So I would like to buy the service/repair manual for the A220. I tried the normal channels, but everywhere there is up to 4 weeks of delivery time. I need to go at the end of this week, which means no manual delivered before I go. I had hoped for a pdf version, which I could view instantly on my pc.
Can anyone help me with a pdf service/repair manual for a Bobcat A220? I don't mind paying for it, but I just need it fast! If anyone can help, please PM me. It would be a great help to me!
Thanks in advance,
Casper

No help with the manual but I would take a drive belt and a fuel filter most everything else can be sorted out pretty easy. If its not either they are both wear items and will be used in the future.

@ frogfarmer:
Good points about the drive belt and fuel filter! Thanks! :o)
I will pack those in the truck, along with a new hydraulic filter, a drum of hydraulic oil and a good selection of tools.
Unfortunately, I don't have much information about the problem - other than it is stated that "the engine runs, but the machine has no power".
Hmmm.., by that description I'm not really sure if it's an engine problem or a hydraulic system related problem.
The machine has 2100 Hours on the meter and do not look beat up.
Good tips and tricks to quickly diagnose a A220 with the above -thin- error description would be really helpful.
Compared to my 843, the A220 has a lot of electrics and diagnostics. Would the diagnostics system protect the hydraulic system if e.g. a drive pump were going bad? Or will it just let the system run untill it takes all the other hydraulic components out?
And still: If anyone can help me with the repair manual I would greatly appreciate it! Also the operators manual could be useful!
