Thanks for having me. I just got an 974 for use around the mill yard. My question is there a kit to change the bobtach to the new standard bobtach system? Thanks Jim Minard

I'm assuming that you have a 973 machine. I've rarely heard of anything available from Bobcat as a kit. Your very best option would be a call to your local dealership. They might surprise you with what they can offer you for that aging machine.

Check out Spartan Equipment, they have any conversions. I actually bought one of their blank weld on universal tach plates and welded it to an old farm tractor loader arms and it worked great.

No they will not interchange. The 974/975/980 use a larger attaching plate due to the need for extra strength,
