I have an 883 that has intermittently shut down a few times over the course of the week, and now will not restart. It has the deluxe left and right keypad control panels, no key switch. Normally I would hit the yellow run/enter button and the display would power up to enter the password. Now, the display will only power up when the button is pressed, let off the button and it immediately powers down. Pressing the "lights" button on the left panel should pull up any error codes. Pressing it gives the same result. When the panel powers up, after a second or 2 it displays a box with the letters B and D in it and a diamond shape with an exclamation point inside. The error code book only lists numerical codes, nothing like this box I see. I am trying to determine if it's a wiring or control panel issue. The connections at each panel, and the chassis connector all look good. There is continuity on the wires that run between the panels, and down to the chassis connector, no problems there either. Would anyone have an idea what the B>D box means, or a way to continue troubleshooting this? Thank you for any help.
