Hey guys I purchased an F series bobcat 873 recently and looking for some help on it. Got it for a good deal because it had been sitting and the guy said it didn’t run and had a “pulling problem” last time they ran it. Hauled it home, charged the battery and it turns on and runs great. The issue I need help with is the “pulling problem”. It has no drive on the left side unless you push the stick all the way either forward or backward and then it’ll go full speed. I have it up on stands right now. Right side is fine. Another issue I’m seeing is that there’s a little oil and gear light that is illuminated. Wondering if that’s hydraulic oil pressure? Also worth noting there was no cap on the hydraulic tank. Thinking water and whatever else got in there because it was sitting for a year or so before I bought it.

first off I would do a very intensive hydraulic flush, to try and get as much of what ever fluids are in the system out,, if there is any indication of water or?? in the fluid

, the reason I say intensive flush, iis
JUST draining things will not remove all the old

as hoses and pumps will hold a lot of fluids combined!

and you really need to get it all out!, if its contaminated

as if fluid is not up to spec, it can cause all sorts of issues and even do costly damages

all the more so with winter closing in possibility of water freezing and expanding in places
till you KNOW you have both GOOD and CORRECT type of fluid, your not going to IMO< really trouble shoo things
, so thats where I would start here
I am no expert, just so you know,
but thats where I would start
