Cranked up my Bobcat 873 yesterday and had no lift or tilt.it has the lift & tilt on the handles [ACS?} was working perfect before shuting down the night before-no intermedant lift problems. i have had to replace the lift/tilt acutators before but at different times and both gave intermedant troubles. After green button is pushed , all lights go to normal-if i push either handle outward-nothing happens & all lights same normal--if i pull either handle inward-then my contol panel indicator for lift/tilt goes out & i get a blinking light on my left control handle of 5 blinks--i have check fuses & looked for connection problems, but have not found anything--seems almost impossible for both accuators to go out at the same time with neither giving trouble before..can anybody tell me what to check or look for --thanks rober

If i remember, 5 blinks is for acturator, but I think if the acturator don't responed it will flash that code even if it is not its fault. I just had a F series 773 AHC that would not tilt, it could curl. It needed a newer controller. FYI, it is cheaper to buy a complete push to float converison kit that includes a controller and both handles then it is to just buy a controller. I would go over the wiring with a fine tooth comb first.

I'm with B'Dan. Pay close attention to the ground wire connections. The cluster of small wires. The chance that you lose lift and tilt at the same time says to me either a bad ground to the controller, or the controller it's self.

well i worked with it monday night-checked conectors & fuses [ a little corrosion on fuses] cleaned fuses & holders and everything worked great !!! Fired it up last night and nothing on lift and tilt--cleaned fuses again, wigled some wires and still nothing-tonight i will try to do more throughl check of wires with ohm meter--thanks for all the responses robert k

Tried to figure out the flash code, not good. The acuators could still be an issue. If the acuator wasn't installed with the propper adapter mount, it would burn out the acuator. Locking out the lift/tilt. It would work till the electric drive motor,in the actuator, burns out.Locking out the lift/tilt, because it's not in neutral.
