I have an old bobcat 853, 1994 I believe. It has rear stabilizers on it. My problem is I just bought a grapple and the grapple will open but not close. This bobcat does have 2 separate aux hydraulic valve bodies, on on right side of machine and one on left (if sitting in machine, rear aux is on right side, controlled by left stick). My grapple will open, but not close. I have attempted to switch wires between the 2 cylanoids on the left side and I get nothing. No open, no close. That leads me to believe there is 2 issues, 1 electrical, 1 cylanoind and/or valve body. The bobcat was used with a backhoe attachment before, which I believe only uses one way. Is it possible there is a one way valve in or something to disable to opposite flow? Just hunting for ideas so I don't have to pay my local bobcat dealer thousands to fix it. They are the local dealer that did 100% of the maintenance on this and also converted to hand controls, although they only tell me they will have to diagnose. Any help is appreciated I have attempted to u hook rear stabilizers to see I'd that allows front to work correctly (according to manual), although do I need to have something in the back that allows flow through? Remember, it does open, just not close
