hey guys, I'm new to the group and I need some help.. I just purchased a 843 bobcat off craigslist and it was overheating.. so i removed the head because i figure it was cracked like all of them are. it supposedly has a 4.154 perkins in it. I had the head redone to a tune of about a grand. OUCH!! still money ahead though. (i think). well I went to install new perkins head gasket that i got. and the ports on the head dont match up with the gasket. I went through bobcat to get parts.. I think I may have a different engine then the original...The only numbers i can find on block above injection pump are AO4-J5775L Can anyone help me out by Identifying this critter.. I only have about $2500 in this thing but it's just a boat anchor without a headgasket that seals....Sigh!!!

The machine shop that done the head must know what it is?
Sorry the numbers don't me much to me, but try a perkins dealer or Bobcat dealer, if you don't get any help at the first, try another. You could takes some pics of it and post them here.
