Hello! I am now the proud owner of a "new" bobcat 7753 skid steer. I have been working on it and everything seems to work good. The issue I am having is when I push the foot pedal to raise the arms, I here the hydralic loading but it wont move. Tilt works fine, drive and steering works great. Oil good. It has no safety bar and I don't see no safety swithes. I swapped the two solinoids with no change. Also there is a red knob on the left side of the seat when your sitting in it that I have no ideal what it is for. It wont move up or down. Any help would be apprisiated. Thanks Eric

That machine did have a lapbar. There should be a BICS box behind your right arm, what do the four LEDS do? Under the cab, there should be a lift lock solenoid. I'm guessing somthing is going on with that, wheter it failed, our someboby messing with the saftey system. The red knob is the boom lower vavle. Say you are using the skidsteer and it dies with the boom arms up where you can't get out. Pull and twist the knob and the boom will lower. Nobody knows they are there so they are always rusted up.

Ok I will look into the lift bar to see if I can find where it was mounting. After looking at it a little more, I found that the lift control switch is missing. It appears somebody stole the one out of it. Is there a way to by-pass the lift switch just for testing it? I'm going to order one anyway because I have a compusive order and want every thing working and as it came from the factory on all of my equipment. I'm use to newer skid steers and am still trying to learn this one. Thanks Eric

Sadly you can't just by-pass it.
