does anyone know where i can get a complete harness for a 773? local bobcat dealer wants 1500 plus shipping for one.
Did you try neddleinahaystack.comThat's the only option you really have.
What's wrong with your old one?
You can always count on fishfiles for a funny lol, next comes the help you really wanted eh fishfilesDid you try neddleinahaystack.com
dont really know dealer told me that their is a open circuit so they need to change the old one out. i cant get a seat bar light to come on the once the seat bar is down. sometimes it does turn on but sometimes it doesnt. so i cant really move the macine without pressing the overide. do you think their is a short somewhere??That's the only option you really have.

If it was me, i'd pull the sensor out. Get a magnet and move it around to see if the light will light up. They can be a bit touchy, and they sensors do fail. They aren't simply on or off, so you can't by-pass them easily.dont really know dealer told me that their is a open circuit so they need to change the old one out. i cant get a seat bar light to come on the once the seat bar is down. sometimes it does turn on but sometimes it doesnt. so i cant really move the macine without pressing the overide. do you think their is a short somewhere??
there are a couple of more websites you could try for a used 773 wiring harness , genieinabottle/threewishes.com , toothfairy/oldteeth.com and lebricons/rainbow.net ------ first off does your machine have a seat sensor , on the bics box it would be listed as seat then seat bar , this set up was upgraded to a box with out a seat sensor and sold as a kit , it can be bypassed with out the kit --------------- if the seat bar light wouldn't light up I would start with the seat bar sensor , either take the one out the seat bar or buy a new seat bar sensor complete , plug it into wiring harness and turn the magnet till it alignes with the sensor pickup and see if it will make the light go out , in a pinch if that works you can tape it all up and tie strap it to the cage and go on with business till you can change it out , if that don;t work I have seen bad connections on the plug that goes into the BICS box alot , you can grab the plug and push it in while you try to press the green button or take the plug out and check for corrosion in the plug ---------------- also inside the sensor for the seat bar is a plastic bushing that will wear a hole in it , when this happens the seat sensor will cock and not make good contact between the magnet and the pickup -----------it could also be a problem inside the controll panel , do you know someone with the same machine so you could try and swop panels and try it , if you have triangluar lights you can pop out the light , unplug the panel and pull the wire thru the light hole and plug it into the new panel without even pulling the panel out the dash ------------------when the light doesn't light are any of the lights flashing as it will try to throw you a code if something is wrong --------------If it was me, i'd pull the sensor out. i dont think it has a sear sensor. i looked all under it and no wires for the seat or any sensors under it. i allready changed the seat bar sensor. but it looks like their is no power coming to the seat sensor. i have a s250 and everytime you turn on the switch it as power to one of the 3 wires going into the seat bar sensor. but this machine doesnt. i think their must be a brake in it somewhere but dont know where to start or where the wire gets its power from? this is a g series bobcat.there are a couple of more websites you could try for a used 773 wiring harness , genieinabottle/threewishes.com , toothfairy/oldteeth.com and lebricons/rainbow.net ------ first off does your machine have a seat sensor , on the bics box it would be listed as seat then seat bar , this set up was upgraded to a box with out a seat sensor and sold as a kit , it can be bypassed with out the kit --------------- if the seat bar light wouldn't light up I would start with the seat bar sensor , either take the one out the seat bar or buy a new seat bar sensor complete , plug it into wiring harness and turn the magnet till it alignes with the sensor pickup and see if it will make the light go out , in a pinch if that works you can tape it all up and tie strap it to the cage and go on with business till you can change it out , if that don;t work I have seen bad connections on the plug that goes into the BICS box alot , you can grab the plug and push it in while you try to press the green button or take the plug out and check for corrosion in the plug ---------------- also inside the sensor for the seat bar is a plastic bushing that will wear a hole in it , when this happens the seat sensor will cock and not make good contact between the magnet and the pickup -----------it could also be a problem inside the controll panel , do you know someone with the same machine so you could try and swop panels and try it , if you have triangluar lights you can pop out the light , unplug the panel and pull the wire thru the light hole and plug it into the new panel without even pulling the panel out the dash ------------------when the light doesn't light are any of the lights flashing as it will try to throw you a code if something is wrong --------------
