hi be kind im new from sydney i have a 763 about 17 years old i have had it for 15 it doesnt get used much just for odd farm work over the last 2 years it has been taking longer and longer after starting before any of the hydraulics work now about 40 minutes before it will move or the bucket will move. as it starts to work it all shutters and it starts to move by its self foward and to the left. also even when its working the left foward drive has no grunt i have very basic knowledge of hydraulics dut this has me stumped the shop says just bring it down and we will fix it but they cant even give me a rough cost of repair i dont mind doing the work i just need some direction thanks ross email [email protected]

Start by checking the main drive belt, it must be tight, if not it will not move and operate eratticly.
It could be bad motor seals causing lack of drive, if its the older version that i am thinking of, the seals can go bad and the drive motors have no power. A few O rings and its good to go again. Hopefully its as simple as that.
As for the movement, that's just the neutral adjustment.

drive belt good start. but keep in mind, if it creeps really bad (brake off no hands on sticks) it like trying to start that old ford without using the clutch) cachunk cachunck;

rough quote on drive belt replacment, we now have a new spring loaded idler that is beyond stupid expesinve.old is nap good news you shouldnt have to buy it twice, i hope that helps ease the pain. sterring to replace pintl seal s probbaly leaking , there is a speedy sleeve avail not oem but applied tech #99-100 DONT have to replace swash plate) this is not a job for the shadetree mech it is easy but the potentail for getting hurt is huge. usally gets quoted at 500.00 us (for those of you that live in paridse) that includes 4 steer bushings two pintles seal and quads new bolts and adjustment

Once U "warm it up" Drive the machine, using the tilt back. When it hit's relief,does the machine slow down? It's probably the drive belt/tension. If the machine want's to move when U do'nt move the controls,is probably the steering need to be set. They wear!

If U need to move a steering lever, forward or back to get the engine to turn over fast enough to start. adjust the/ repair the steering.

I'm so stupid /// the drive belt was slipping /loose and the pulley was seizing i just thought the worst !!!! the drive pump is still playing up no power on left side under load ///time for some work on it the exhaust pipe has broken off at the manifold so every thing is blackened air filter sooty the fuel pump on the feed side the little round bit wont supply fuel unless the tank is 80% full or more a gravity thing i assume the filter was blocked in the tank now clean but still no fuel when the tank is low does any one know if you just unbolt the round bit with the two hoses in and out is it servicable or is it replace only ?????? well next a gallon of degreaser and a quick gerni fix the exhaust then the fuel pump making some progress :)
