Bobcat 763 D clicks but won't turnover

My Bobcat 763 Diesel was stuck in a ditch at a 45 deg. angle, engine at bottom. I shut it down initially, the tried starting. Engine turned over but wouldn't start. Then engine would only "click" and not turnover when trying to start. Remove it from the ditch (after much time and effort) and it is on level ground. Turn key and only "clicks"....HELP!!!!!

Remove the injectors and try turning it over by hand to make sure its not hydrolocked.

i want to say fuel pickup tube broke off inside tank and machine stalled, then you kept trying to start it and burned out the starter.

try tapping starter lightly with a hammer and see if it kicks
